So as I said last night been on vacation for a while, zipped around the eastern seaboard/midwest pretty much in a loop. And now here is the post to talk about all that ;)

Good thing there are pictures! I have lots of things to update the world of LJ on but we just went to the Georgia Aquarium today and I am still incredibly hyped up about it so this post Aquarium, rest of trip later. We are obviously traveling right now, our first stop was PA then DE then NC and now GA (and yeah I'm pretty ready to be home sooooo exhausting traveling this much!)

I have wanted to go to this aquarium since they started building it! Only one in North America with Whale Sharks! Plus throw in some Manta Rays, Beluga Whales, living coral reef exhibits, River Otters, and a bunch of touch tanks for good measure. Oh yeah what a fabulous day! Squirt did amazingly well today, he actually ENJOYED standing in the tunnel for 30 minutes just watching the fish, running along the HUGE window chasing whale sharks, watching jellyfish bob up and down in the tank, listening to the music crescendo when the waves crashed in the coral exhibit, and petting the "Man-Ray" bat rays :)

And I have to tell you they have AMAZING food, oh my gosh chicken fingers and pizza that rivals an actual restaurant, this was not your typical zoo/amusement park food. And pretty reasonably prized, we got a pizza, 4 chicken fingers, fries, 2 sodas, and a cup of carrots for about $16 (which in the real world is AHHHH but in the amusement park world is pretty good;))

Hope you enjoyed the very brief photo tour of the Georgia Aquarium. I say very brief as Mom and I took over 1000 pictures in the 5 hours we were there so in comparison this is a small amount! :) I already want to go back! They are building a dolphin exhibit right now, opening winter 2010 ::pencils it on calendar:: oh yeah :)

It has been a CRAZY summer. The stuff from NC was finally moved to IN (woot!), Mom had to undergo a scope to investigate polyps in her duodenum that turned out to be pre-cancerous, Squirt is being potty trained and growing more stubborn every day! Summer is coming to a close (waaaaaaaaaaaaaa) and the days are growing colder. And I looked back on my LJ and realized it has been way to long since I posted pictures. This is why I shouldn't be allowed to Facebook, I can't keep up with both! I am really behind in picture posting so this will be a monster ( Clicky )

And that's a wrap! That gets everyone up to speed. We're up to the 90% range of potty in the toilet and not in his pants so doing great on that front. Trying to unpack everything from NC is a bear of a task but we're trudging through it. AND Football is starting! At least one good thing comes from fall ;)

Having a 2 year old I watch more Nickelodeon than I used to, but I did watch it before him. And this weekend I probably would have been watching regardless. Spongebob turned 10, TEN years it's been on the air. All weekend long has been all Spongebob all the time on Nick, I haven't watched all of it but it's still good to know there is something on tv;) BUT I must confess I was horribly disappointed by the top 10 fan favorites. I mean who voted on this garbage!!

So now let's jump back to 1999, I had completed 1 semester of college at this time 10 years ago and was working at my uncles company in NY. Actually exactly from today I would have either just headed back to CA to go back to community college or just about to. Now 10 years later I have a masters degree and I watch Spongebob more for my 2 year old then for my own chuckle/relaxation. Amazing how life changes but TV remains the same;)

After all he's not quite 3 so I wasn't to far behind on it right right??

So it's been a long time since I posted to LJ. Yeah sorry about that, facebook kinda took over;) I feel guilty making quick posts to LJ want it to be longer, where facebook is perfect for sentence here sentence there :) So what has been going on lately, well a lot of zoo trips this month ;) May there was a lot of reading, some zoo trips, a trip to Holland Michigan which was awesome. I started playing PuzzlePirates again and LOVE it. And honestly I've been keeping up on uploading pictures to photobucket, just haven't gotten them linked over here :( Which stinks for me just as much as those who read this (which aren't that many) as I use it for my scrapbooking journal ;)
